British handmade paper, parchment and type-crafts surviving into the late 20th Century as suppliers of fine materials to the book * arts *. The Guild will meet in Room 220 to view slides & specimen books collected while in England by Neal Bonham and Suzanne Ferries of Sea Pen Press and Papermill.
May 9, 1985 | Charles Seluzicki speaks
Charles Seluzicki, bookseller and critic for Fine Print speaks on, "Antiquarian Bookselling and Fine Press Publishing: Some Reflections on the Nature of a Dual Profession" in Room 220. Charles is a long-time BAG member based in Portland, Oregon who specializes in poetry and fine press printing and handles the work of Claire Van Vliet.
October 20, 1985 | Book Arts Fair
Exhibits and demonstrations of the traditional book arts at the Book Arts Fair, co-sponsored by the Book Arts Guild and the Society for Calligraphy and Handwriting. Held at the Museum of History and Industry, 2161 East Hamlin Street, Seattle. Donation requested.
