Deadline is January 31 to apply to be an exhibitor at
Seattle Art Book Fair
May 8-10, 2020
Washington Hall, Seattle
The Seattle Art Book Fair is a free, weekend-long festival that celebrates the art of book design. The inaugural 2020 fair will feature local, national, and international artists, designers, and organizations working in independent and experimental publishing. A series of talks, workshops, and special projects will expand the dialogue in contemporary arts publishing.
The fair is co-organized by Jayme Yen and Tom Eykemans, both of whom have worked in arts, design, education, nonprofits, and publishing for many years in Seattle, along with a dedicated team of volunteers and advisors. It is modeled after Printed Matter’s well-established art book fairs in New York and Los Angeles, and inspired by similar events in San Francisco and Vancouver, Canada. We expect to host 50–75 exhibitors over the three-day event, accompanied by a variety of speakers and workshops.
