While Shelley has always enjoyed crafts, she began painting and illustration later in life and found a passion that has been expanding into books and interactive paper sculpture.

With color and joy and wild florals, Shelley loves an unfolding story that gives the reader a physical connection to the art. This interest led from sketchbooks to tunnel books to Victorian puzzle purses.

Join us as Shelley talks about coming to art as an adult and the playful interactive artwork she makes.

After 20+ years as a financial analyst and mother to two girls, Shelley found more time to be creative and started on her art journey. Currently she lives in Southern California with her husband and teenage girls and relishes a simple life.
