Online October Offering

The Book Arts Guild had an intriguing presentation planned for this month, but in the way of the pandemic, we have had to reschedule (stay tuned). We have a special guest scheduled for next month - watch for an announcement soon.

In a bit of serendipity, we've just learned that the Tacoma Public Library is presenting a talk by Carletta Carrington Wilson on Saturday, October 16th at 2pm. Carletta was scheduled to give a presentation to the Book Arts Guild last year, but her appearance was one of the Guild's first cancellations of the pandemic. Luckily, we've all been invited to Carletta's talk Saturday. Her (virtual) appearance is connected to the library's exhibit of Carletta's book of the bound.

The event is free, but preregistration is required. Go HERE to read more about the exhibit, the artist, and to register.
