Join us for an online presentation by Sandra Kroupa, Book Arts & Rare Book Curator in Special Collections at UW Libraries, where she is responsible for historic and selective modern children's books. This presentation will look at the history of the book through the lens of childhood, from early forms of the book up to the work of modern book artists, with texts originally written for children.
The title of this presentation comes from poet Pablo Neruda: “Everything is ceremony in the wild garden of childhood” from his last book when he was facing death from cancer.
